Shortcodes Based Filter Widgets: Styling and Other things

Introduction

On this page, you will find guides for styling and for some other configurations related to shortcode based filter widgets that you may have created if you have not yet then please follow the Shortcodes Documentation for doing so first.

Button Text & Styling #

Go to the tab

WordPress Admin Left Bar >> Woo Custom Filter Widget >> Shortcode Filter >> Button

First, locate the plugin menu on WordPress left bar menu, you should see the menu with the title Woo Custom Filter Widget, click on it. Now on the Woo Custom Filter Widget admin area that will be loaded, you will be by default taken to the Shortcode Filter tab. And then find the Button tab and click on it.

Button Text

Set the text in the button text field that you want to display on the search button.

Background Color

Sets the specified color as the button background.

Border Color

Sets the specified color as the button border color.

Font Color

Sets the specified color as the button font color.

Font Size

In this field specify integer value for the font size of button text, the unit of value is in px.

Padding

In this field specify integer value for applying padding around the button, the unit of value is in px.

Inline CSS

In this field specify inline CSS that you want to set for the button layout.

Additional CSS

In this field specify custom CSS that you want to set for the button layout. This is a recommended option with regards to SEO so use inline CSS only if you have no other option. Here in this field, you can override any class or hierarchical CSS of Button.

Dropdown Styling #

Go to the tab

WordPress Admin Left Bar >> Woo Custom Filter Widget >> Shortcode Filter >> Dropdown

First, locate the plugin menu on WordPress left bar menu, you should see the menu with the title Woo Custom Filter Widget, click on it. Now on the Woo Custom Filter Widget admin area that will be loaded, you will be by default taken to the Shortcode Filter tab. And then find the Dropdown tab and click on it.

Background Color
Sets the specified color as the dropdown background.

Border Color
Sets the specified color as the dropdown border color.

Font Color
Sets the specified color as the dropdown font color.

Font Size
In this field specify integer value for the font size of dropdown text, the unit of value is in px.

Padding
In this field specify integer value for applying padding around dropdown, the unit of value is in px.

Inline CSS
In this field specify inline CSS that you want to set for the dropdown layout.

Additional CSS
In this field specify custom CSS that you want to set for the dropdown layout. This is a recommended option with regards to SEO so use inline CSS only if you have no other option. Here in this field, you can override any class or hierarchical CSS of Dropdown.

Configuration #

Go to the tab

WordPress Admin Left Bar >> Woo Custom Filter Widget >> Shortcode Filter >> Configuration

First, locate the plugin menu on WordPress left bar menu, you should see the menu with the title Woo Custom Filter Widget, click on it. Now on the Woo Custom Filter Widget admin area that will be loaded, you will be by default taken to the Shortcode Filter tab. And then find the Configuration tab and click on it.

Redirect URL (optional)
Set the redirect URL to which you want to redirect the user after they hit the search button on the filter. Default is set to default URL of the shop page.

Not All Required (optional)
If you want your filter to function only if all the filters are selected then please uncheck this option, by default this option is checked.
